It started to snow just as the Parade started,
adding an
Eerie Medieval Feeling
to the proceedings.
Part of the charm of this parade is the way that
the participants cope with inclement
weather.
Wind is especially hard on the
"Fancies" whose
members are harnessed
to massive sail like contraptions of ostrich
feathers, satin, sequins and wood. |

But
most of the Comics are
Ready for Anything.
Umbrellas
and
Plungers
are traditional Comics' props.
