The
Basic Idea of the Gametones is total improvisation on
my homemade Gamelan influenced instruments.
I even go so far as to spring new instruments on the
group on the the night of a performance, letting everyone
figure it out as they play it.
Other instruments, such as the Large GameChimes have
a large number of possible arrangements to the notes,
and you never know exactly what you are going to get.
This tends to keep you on your toes.
We depend entirely on being in the moment
and trusting each other.
