At least there was a lot of press there.
Channel 2 the local CBS affiliate gave a sympathetic report
on the situation. Here the cops are pushing us further away
from being able to see what they were doing.
I was able to get to a spot a little North
on Avenue C where I could see
the back of the garden for a little while, until the cops chased us away.
One of the gardeners was locked to the top of this
steel
flower, which guarded the rear of the garden.
A cop climbed up it.
And after a bit he apparently somehow
convinced her to come down.
