On the other hand, this sweet lady clown from Willinboro, New Jersey,
about 40 miles from Philly, looked as fresh as a just iced Dunkin donut.
I might bet that her group had a good night's rest, snacks for the Road,
and that they had everything ready for the parade last week.
I might....
It seems that many of the groups now participating
in the parade are from the suburbs.
And In many ways the Comics section of the Mummers Parade
is now much like something you might see in
a Small Town 4th of July Parade.
But. when I was a child in the 50's and 60's it seemed much more
Drunken and Primal.
