The next day it was parade time. Did I dress up the Cushman for the parade? Nah, I figured it was ready enough. I just cranked the disco up loud and Chelsea danced up a storm on the trunk, instant parade float.
Chelsea shook that thang thru the whole parade route. At the start of the parade I inadvertently qued up Donna Summer's "Bad Girl", oops.

Mabel hopped out every few feet to put dabs of silver paint on all the kid's noses. When I drove back up the hill to make my second pass through the parade (invoking my Meter Maid's privilege), every kid I passed was looking dazed over their silver noses.
Note Red unicycling behind us, and the Cyberbuss behind her, with like 50 people on the roof dancing it up.
And a bunch more on top of the Art Van. Incidentally, in the Art Van's previous life it was a delivery van for Smart Food popcorn, so after buying it for ridiculously little money Brett blotted out the "S" and the "M" so the new lettering says "ARTVAN". Very nice.
The Buss won the little horse show style 1st place blue ribbon again this year, she's a two-time champion. Gee, a trophy sure would look nice as a hood ornament, hint hint to the parade organizers for next year.
