| it didn't happen. why? because all those little spots you see in the foreground are bugs. tons of them. more than i think i've ever seen. more than i saw at pyramid lake one strange morning when they took over vangie and it took us loads of swats in the air to usher them all out.
phew... well, these bugs left us alone. didn't want anything to do with us. but still there were so many you couldn't even see the muck below them.

| if the bugs weren't enough, there was also the arsenic
thing. i mean i heard it was safe to sit in, just not to drink because
of trace amounts of arsenic. sounded a bit nasty, but believe it or not,
with all this funky stuff, this whole area was so absolutely beautiful,
as i imagine you can see.
