this was one of my favorite pieces. you can barely tell here, but there's a swing inside the ribcage. a lot of folks were on it when i came through and i just didn't feel like joining in, but i hope to hang from that swing alone sometime under a wide sky.
 
someone made the point that no matter how much they try to capture some essence of burning man in photos, it still falls way short from the experience. like they just can't look back and really see the magic for all that's really there. i imagine this is a good thing, but i still struggled with it taking pictures.
 
the temptation is to try to capture and document the whole event, but really everyone ends up capturing one little part of it and between us all we document probably one hundredth of the whole experience.
