I think that up to this point that the store employees
thought that Evil was just a particularly strange muppet and was part of the show. But at this point I think Elmo's "people" started to get security involved.

I could see it was getting nasty and told Nicolette that we needed to Get Evil out of Here, that we had gotten everything we needed and that we should split while we still could.
