We walked for a good nother hour along the pointy ridge, actually considering sleeping on the steep sandy slopes and sliding in the night, waking wherever we may. One of us was actually heard invoking the phrase "Free yourself from the tyranny of the flat stationary bed!"

But thank god the non-false summit is equipped with a nice flat celebration spot. We layed down our burden of sleeping bags and snow board and slept well.

It's always worth it for the views in the morning, and thank god
again no one freed themselves from the tyranny of the flat sleep
spot. I'd imagine waking from a sound sleep sliding down a mountain
in a restrictive sleeping bag would be a little too thrilling. Also
thank god I hadn't followed my impulse the previous night of filling
my mouth with sand. And psst, you can click that pic to see a panoramic
view of the area.
