Arcade-Style Basketball
This is what the game interface looks like, for now. The buttons on the right aren't usually in the game, they're just here since the switches aren't. The Start button is what happens when you press the Panic button (it starts the game), the Score button is what happens when you sink a basketball, and the # Players button is how you decide how many people will be playing (it only works if no game is in progess).
Some features:
- scoring only works while a player is shooting, not during breaks between players
- there's an adjustable delay after scoring before scoring will register again, so it doesn't register a single ball twice
- bunch of other stuff that I can't think of now.
To do:
- get a beta-brite scrolling LED sign, and the interface that Industrologic sells that lets you write to it from commandline, and hence from this game
- fix that bucket sensor
- get a bunch more 7" mini basketballs
- figure out some system to get the balls back to the shooter
- come up with some different games
- make diffferent hoop sensors for different balls. One for doll heads, and make a new hoop and sensor for those huge yoga balls.
- mount the basket on a garage door opener pole, so, for example, in teh last 10 seconds of play the hoop could be moving up and down randomly...
If you want the FLA, here it is. Note that there's a bunch of extraneous stuff in there, I'm trying to control some external lights.
