Actually, there are wheel chair accessible schoolbuses available, but they are a lot more expensive, bus barns are less likely to want to part with them, and often they strip out the chair lift and sell it separately, before they sell the bus.

I would love to live in a vehicle but.... vans drink lots of expensive gas, so you'd either have to have a way to earn money on the road or already be rich. If you're already rich then you'd probably not live in an old vehicle but a brand new motor home. Also, how to shower on the move?

Holy shit! that takes the cake. My mom had a freind that had a long bus with a vw van roof welded to the top and a pole to slide down like a firemans pole. They also had an external shower on the outside and a fricken' small patio sticking out of the back. The guy made his money making/welding brass roses in his blacksmith shop that was also in the bus. We are a strange species...

Ok, so you and 10 buddies are road trippin' in your modified delivery truck, doin' say 40 mph over the limit, smokin' a dube and smashin' yer empties on the curb. You only have 50 miles to go to get to the border to drop off the 20 kilos. Then it happens. Cherry lights in the rear view. You pull over. Man walks up and inspects. Hands you a citation for inadequate spacing of the roof joists in your ceiling. Remember folks, be careful to always follow the national and local building codes for your area.
